I have extremely unruly hair so I appreciate a hairstyle that takes very little effort but still looks pulled together. Here are the simple steps I took to achieve this style:

1. Part your hair down the middle

2. Make two pigtail braids and secure with an elastic

3.Take one pigtail and bring to the oposite side, use a bobby pin to secure.

4. Do the same on the other side, I used four bobby pins to hold the braids in place

5. Tuck in the ends so they don’t show.

Your finished!

Most days I throw my hair into a top knot which takes about 3.5 seconds. This morning I decided to get a little fancy with my comfortable bun and experiment with some braids. If you have mastered a french braid, this will be incredibly easy!

Flip your hair over and gather three bundles at the nape of your neck.

Begin french braiding until you reach the desired height of your bun.

I always am forced into a messy bun by my unruly hair…arggg

Pull any strands of hair to frame your face & your done!!

I am a little obsessed with hair art these days and they always make for some great photography!

Good luck!

Fedoras have got to be one of my favorite summer accessories. There are so many cute ones right now, some that have bows, stripes, ropes and floral patterns! Above are a few of my favorite ways to wear a fedora.

Happy hat hunting!

I often have trouble securing my braids with bobby pins so they stay in place. The bobby pins end up falling out of my hair bringing the braid down with it (super frustrating!). A clear elastic holds the braid in place without looking to big or chunky while lasting the day! If you have the same bobby pin wars as me, I hope this is a cute solution for you!!
