Popcorn is one of my all time favorite indulgences. Traditionally I would pop it for an evening of movie watching, since finding this recipe I have enjoyed it as a mid-day snack. It is soooo tasty and even healthy, I can’t wait to try more flavours! Ingredients list and directions below!
Ingredients: 3 tbsp coconut oil, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon curry powder, 2 dashes of hot sauce, 1 galon of popcorn
Directions: Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; stir in the garlic, turmeric, curry powder, and cumin; keep over heat 1 minute. Reduce heat to low and simmer 1 minute more. Add the hot sauce and pour over the popcorn. Serve immediately.
I usually don’t go for savory popcorn (white cheddar is an exception), but I’m loving all the spices. Sounds tasty!
