This chocolate banana smoothie is not only delicious, but healthy! It will provide you with a boost for breakfast or satisfy your dessert craving in a guilt-free way! Most chocolate banana smoothie recipes call for chocolate syrup, but I like to use cocoa and honey as a healthier alternative.

 

Blend together:

 

1 frozen banana (don’t forget to peel it before putting it into the freezer!)

about 1 cup vanilla yogurt

about 2 cups of milk

about 2 tbsp cocoa

about 2 tbsp honey

 

You can play around with this recipe, depending on how chocolatey, sweet, or flavourful you want it!

    I make that’s very similar, except I use a packet of Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials. It has a great {real} chocolate flavor! Not to mention it’s packed with vitamins, mineral and even protein!

    never thought of adding honey though, yum!
